Congratulations on an incredible season! Can you describe that winning throw at this year’s European Championships?

It was amazing! And such a relief to finally throw over 20m. The fact that the winning throw was awarded with a gold medal makes it even more beautiful!

What, for you, is the most challenging part of shot-put?

The eating part! I usually don’t really like to eat. But for the shot-put you have to eat a lot! That’s the hardest part.

Body image can be a struggle for female athletes, what advice do you have for young girls out there that are maybe struggling?

You’re unique in every single possible way. There is nobody like you. Therefore, you have every right to show yourself to the world! You’re simply beautiful.

When do you feel the most inspired?

When I throw the shot with my idols. It is such an amazing feeling to be part of a great community. They helped me a lot and I enjoy competing with them!

If you could only have three things on your life bucket list, what would they be?

  1. Becoming Olympic Champion
  2. Becoming World Champion
  3. Trying to inspire the next generation to be their full selves and enjoy their life to the fullest.

What is one thing you are afraid to do?

Skydiving! I hate hights! I still dream about it sometimes, and it makes me feel dizzy.

How do you usually spend a Sunday afternoon?

Sleeping 🙂.
